Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati met on Monday at the Grand Serail with UNIFIL Commander, Major General Aroldo Lazaro, to whom he stressed the necessity that Israel ceases its violation of the Lebanese sovereignty and implements UN Resolution 1701.

Mikati later received European Union Ambassador to Lebanon, Ralph Tarraf, on top of a delegation. Talks touched on the bilateral cooperation between Lebanon and the EU.
