Prime Minister Najib Mikati held today successive meetings with the ministers, in the context of discussing their perception of their ministries’ work, the required basic files, and preparing for the ministerial statement on the basis of which the government will gain confidence.

President Mikati also held a meeting that included the new and former ministers concerned with the financing card, which launching registering has been announced to those who wish to benefit from it according to the specified conditions.

He was briefed on this topic’s stages, and whether the announcement of the card was actually associated with specific funding sources, and specific dates for payment, or whether the research will continue on this topic to find appropriate financing and final solutions to all issues related to this file.

It was agreed that the new and former ministers will complete the research in the next few days, to prepare the final report on this subject.
