The media office of President Najib Mikati explained that this morning, during the passage of President Mikati in Akkar, on his way to inaugurate one of the mosques built by the “Association of determination and social happiness, a popular movement was taking place in the area in protest to the fuel crisis, while Mikati’s car passed through, But the protesters threw stones at an escort car that remained in the place and smashed its windows, without knowing to whom it belongs. One of the  security officers fired in the air to keep the protesters away and defend himself and those who were with him in the car, and the matter ended at this point.
