The Association of Banks in Lebanon has taken a unanimous decision to postpone the maturity dates of housing loans for an additional year to members of the army and other military and security institutions that have signed housing protocols with Lebanese banks, without entailing any delay interest, burdens or additional commissions on the borrowers, believing that such a measure “supports the military and security members in this difficult and delicate stage that the country is going through.”
