The Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamieh, addressed the situation of the authority and its personnel, as well as how things turned out, together with a delegation of the joint public transportation in Lebanon.

The delegation praised Minister Hamieh’s efforts to reactivate and revitalize this sector through communications, believing that “if this plan presented by Hamieh is implemented, a series of problems can be solved, beginning with the citizen’s mobility crisis, passing through reducing the Lebanese people’s dependence on the means of transportation.”

In response, Hamieh assured the delegation that “the reactivation of this sector will take place through the maintenance of the 45 buses that stopped working through a donation that does not cost the treasury anything, and the joint public transportation plan that he prepared on all Lebanese territory, which was the subject of attention, follow-up, and praise by the World Bank.”
