“The Lebanese cinema will shine in Paris this evening with the launch of the second edition of the Lebanese Film Festival of France (FFLF),” Culture Minister, Judge Mohammad Wissam Al-Mortada, said in a statement on Thursday.
“On this occasion, I extend my appreciation to everyone who’s contributed and will contribute to the success of this valuable work, because of its positive impact on Lebanese cinema in particular and country’s cultural image in general,” he added.
“To more initiatives, progress, and successes in all cultural fields,” Mortada concluded.
The Lebanese Film Festival of France (FFLF) is an annual festival dedicated to Lebanese cinema and Lebanese international society.
The FFLF aims at challenging filmmakers through short and feature film competition.
Its first edition took place in Paris at the Lincoln cinema, from October 7th to October 11th, 2020.
