Nassar, and during a press conference with former Minister of Tourism Ramzi Msharrafieh, after assuming the ministry’s duties, stressed that “we do not want to make big promises,” addressing Msharrafieh, “what you attended is part of the plan that we are preparing, and we need some time.”
He stressed that “the tourism budget, which is 0.06%, is illogical, and we need external funding, and this requires restoring the international community and Arab countries’ confidence.”
Pointing out “the Ministry of Tourism, in my opinion, is a sovereign ministry, as it is concerned with the tourist as he arrives at the airport until his arrival at his home, and at the touristic places.”
