Dr. Youssef El-Khalil, Minister of Finance, met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Abdallah Bou Habib, who briefed him on the plan to reduce all foreign currency spending items in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants’ budget, as well as the financial steps that must be taken to ensure the continuity and smooth operation of Lebanese missions and their diplomatic and local staff abroad.

The two ministers also agreed to update Prime Minister Najib Mikati on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants’ budget reform and rationalization efforts.
