Ministry of Education and Higher Education extends distance learning

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) has issued today two decisions related to distance learning in public and private schools, and vocational and technical institutions.

The first decision has extended distance learning in public and private schools and high schools for the pre-noon and afternoon hours, until the ministry decides in further notice to apply blended learning.

The second decision has extended distance learning and mainly theoretical lessons in public and private vocational and technical institution.

The Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education has issued a circular specifying the mechanism for providing practical lessons for students, until a decision is issued to return back to blended learning.

The MoEHE has decided previously in January 7, 2021 to adopt remote learning during the lockdown, until February 15, 2021, due to the exceptional health conditions the country is going through.
