The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants issued a statement indicated that “the Ministry is following with great interest the urgent investigations launched by the Lebanese authorities to take appropriate measures in accordance with the laws in force against the holding of a press conference in Beirut which offenses were made against the Kingdom of Bahrain.”

The Ministry affirmed: “We are very keen that Lebanon will not be a platform to offend and insult the brotherly Kingdom of Bahrain and all Arab countries. We are committed to the charter of the League of Arab States in terms of non-interference in the internal affairs of the Arab brothers. We hope that cooperation and coordination continue between us, to prevent the recurrence of similar actions, and to address any issue that could harm the brotherly relations.”
