Minister of Public Health in the caretaker government, Dr. Hamad Hassan, issued a circular regarding the official vaccination certificate for Covid-19 vaccine, for those who wish to obtain it to facilitate travel or other procedures.

The circular confirmed , “The Ministry’s approval of the electronic vaccination certificate that includes  the QR Code issued by the official platform for registration to take the vaccine ( covax.moph.gov.lb ), as an official vaccination certificate without the need to be certified or signed by any reference in the ministry,  and when necessary, the seal of the vaccination center will be considered sufficient.

The ministry stated that “the person concerned receives the link to the vaccination certificate through an SMS text message after receiving the second dose of the vaccine.”
