On Friday, the Ministry of Public Health announced in its daily COVID-19 report to have registered  “2,008 new confirmed cases (1,992 local and 16 foreigners), bringing the total number of cases to 506,808.”

The Ministry has as well reported “45 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths to 6,854.”
