The Media Office of the Ministry of Public Health issued the following statement: “After a number of vaccination centers approved by the Ministry of Public Health called for citizens to contact the centers directly in order to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine, instead of registering through the official registration platform, or waiting for the date scheduled by the platform, the Ministry would like to confirm the following:

First : Such calls constitute a violation to the Ministry’s directives and to its standards of transparency and fairness set jointly with the National Vaccine Advisory Committee.

Second : The Ministry of Public Health reminds all concerned persons to abide by standards it issued, regarding the adoption of solely the official registration platform as a source for scheduling the vaccine date.
