The Ministry of Tourism has approved hotel tariffs in foreign currency for foreign tourists and in Lebanese pounds for Lebanese citizens and foreigners living in Lebanon, in order to boost inbound and local tourism, trigger the national economy by providing foreign currencies, and strengthen domestic tourism for citizens by paying hotel rental fees in Lebanese pounds.

The Tourist Police Department will bear the responsibility of monitoring its implementation as of the date of issuance of the present circular.
