The residents of Minnieh on Monday blocked the region’s International Highway at Bhanine junction in objection against the closure of gas stations, and their refusal to sell gasoline and diesel despite possessing sufficient stock in their tanks.

This has caused significant traffic congestion in the area, and along the secondary roads to which traffic was diverted.

Citizens also blocked on Monday afternoon Beddawi International Highway in front of Akuma gas station for the same reason.
