Acting Prime Minister Najib Mikati emphasized that Lebanon is in the eye of the storm and called for an end to Israeli provocations on the borders. He stated that the Lebanese people do not want war.

Mikati said, “If we enter into a war, it will not be limited to Lebanon, and the region will be in a state of chaos.”

He added, “The decision for war is in the hands of Israel if it continues to breach the borders and commit violations.”
