The Ministry of Public Health announced, on Monday, the registration of 3,562 new Coronavirus infections, raising the cumulative number of confirmed cases to-date 471,962.

Additionally, it indicated that 45 deaths were registered during the past 24 hours.

‎3,56‎‏2‏‎ ‎confirmed cases were recorded among residents and 24 cases among expatriates,” noting that “‎45‎ new deaths were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 6,286”, the Ministry explained.

“The number of hospitalizations yesterday was 2,123 including 952 in intensive care, and the number of laboratory tests taken yesterday was 21,781 of which 3,189 were taken at the airport”, the Ministry concluded.
