More than 350 people evacuated from Romania to Lebanon

The Head of the Syndicate of Owners of Tourist Establishments in Romania, Muhammad Murad announced the end of the evacuation of more than 350 Lebanese residing in Ukraine from Bucharest to Beirut, which he carried out in cooperation with the Director General of General Security Major General Abbas Ibrahim.

Murad thanked the Romanian authorities who provided all assistance, his two brothers Ahmed and Hassan for their help and support, and all the employees in Murad Group company, for contributing to this national humanitarian mission.

Evacuating more than 850 students and families from Ukraine was accomplished in communication with a large number of the members of the community there, who ensured their arrival in Bucharest, and hosting them in our hotels.”

He said, “I hope that the conditions Ukraine is going through, and what Lebanese people are facing there, will end soon.”
