Hariri called for “finding a solution to this problem because of its serious environmental and health repercussions on the lives of people, who are already overwhelmed with the many crises they are enduring.”

On another note and as part of her follow-up on the ‘Taamir – Ain El Hilweh’ houses that have been affected by the camp’s clashes, Hariri met in Majdelyoun with a large delegation of residents of the camp whose homes and properties were damaged as a result of these clashes.

The delegation presented the extent of the damage to the property of a large number of families, and it was decided to form a committee to further look into this dossier and start a field inspection of the damages, survey their size and estimate their cost, in preparation for submitting a letter in this regard to donors to assist in the compensation process.
