Media Office of Dar Al-Fatwa denied what was quoted to the Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, in a news website this morning, in one of his Arab meetings regarding the internal affairs of Sunni Muslims in Lebanon.”

It stressed in a statement that “what was attributed to His Eminence is totally and completely untrue,” calling on “the media of all kinds, and before publishing any news related to the Mufti’s activities, stances and statements, to investigate its accuracy and correct information from its main sources”.
