The Minister of Finance in the caretaker government, Youssef Khalil, announced before the cabinet session that there is no proposed law for borrowing to be discussed during the session. He mentioned that he believes the budget needs an additional session, and they are all working to find a solution for salaries and other needs by the end of the month.
According to information from MTV, the Central Bank of Lebanon is likely to announce a complete halt to funding the state starting from Monday, which poses a threat to salaries, medicine, and other necessities.
