Gov. Judge Ramzi Nohra issued a decision calling for the “North Army Directorate to assist in removing the violations along the coastal waterfront in Tripoli’s Mina area.”
The statement added that “since the Mina area is a touristic neighborhood and it attracts visitors from all around the northern and Lebanese towns, and having one of the best waterfronts in Lebanon, and since transgressions and trespasses on public properties are on the rise, and to avoid any further harm for the city’s residents and curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we request that all the transgressions on the city’s waterfront be removed.”
