NSSF launches platform for remote electronic services

The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) in cooperation with the Ministry of Administrative Development is creating a new interactive website that will provide advanced digital services.

The project funded by the European Union, aims at facilitating the subscribers’ and employers’ affairs and clear their transactions in more efficient ways via computers and smart phones.

In this context, the Director General of the NSSF Mohammad Karaki, held a series of meetings, the last of which was on Monday to discuss the latest developments and results of the team after it met with the technical team in NSSF, and discussed the importance of the digital platform in terms of the interactive service it provides.

The platform will allow subscribers to benefit from NSSF services remotely without the hardship of attending NSSF personally to ask about their paperwork.  It will also save time and facilitate the work of subscribers.

NSSF in its meetings stressed the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of information and protecting data. NSSF also stressed that the platform should comply to the unified standards approved by the Ministry of Administrative Development, as well as its integration with the comprehensive automation and digital transformation project.

The NSSF has set the appropriate timetable for the completion of this project and its launch within a maximum period of 3 months. This project will move NSSF to the era of e-government and remote services.
