US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland confirmed that she came to Lebanon at the request of President Biden to support the Lebanese people because they deserve better, warning of the events that occurred today, describing them as “unacceptable.”

During a press conference, she added that “the United States will provide an additional $67 million in support to the Lebanese army.”

And Nuland warned “the situation in Lebanon is slipping into a dangerous curve.”

In response to a journalist’s question, she pointed out that “Iran’s support for Lebanon in the field of energy is a media bang.”
