Officially… Lebanon approves screening of film “Barbie.”

Lebanese authorities have officially approved the screening of the fantasy film “Barbie” in all cinemas. This comes after the Lebanese Minister of Culture, Mohammed Mortada, previously called for its ban due to its alleged conflict with moral and religious values as well as established principles in Lebanon, according to his statement.

The film is expected to be released in Lebanese cinemas in the upcoming days.

The committee responsible for censoring films, which includes representatives from the General Security and the Ministry of Economy, recently reviewed the movie “Barbie” and did not find any scenes or reasons to prevent its screening.
