Sheikh Bahaa Al Hariri affirmed in a tweet that “Since the October 17 revolution, we have witnessed several violations against media professionals, journalists and activists who were covering the protests. On World Press Freedom Day, the legitimate right to Press freedom in Lebanon should be respected and promoted, because it is the cornerstone of true democracy.”
