Order of Nurses: What we are losing today in terms of health cannot be compensated later

The Order of Nurses congratulated Prime Minister Najib Mikati and the ministers on the new long-awaited government amid difficult and delicate health, economic, and life conditions.

The order considered that the task entrusted to the government is difficult, but not impossible, if there is the will and intention to set the required reforms and rescue the country from collapse.”

The order said in a statement, that “the nursing sector, which is a vital and pivotal part of the health sector, looks to the President and the Ministers with great hope to save this profession from the dangerous reality it has reached, and this can be achieved by allocating part of the funds that Lebanon will receive from the IMF to the health sector.”

The healthcare and nursing sector should be prioritized over all other sectors, because what we are losing in health cannot be compensated later.”
