The President of the Order of Physicians Dr. Sharaf Abu Sharaf, discussed on Sunday with the heads of medical committees at the hospitals the decision taken by Judge Tareq Bitar in the case of the child Ella Tannous.

The attendees expressed their solid condemnation for the “wrong and unjust” judgement, which negatively affects the doctor’s future and threatens the citizen’s health security.

The physicians called for a warning strike for a period of one week, starting from Monday, May 10, to demonstrate the positive role that doctors play in treating their patients. They will also complete the study carried out by the investigations committee in the Order and work in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and the Parliamentary Health Committee to find a legal solution , in order to achieve justice for all.
