House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Friday received a congratulatory cable from Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, on the occasion of the holy Eid Al-Fitr.

Speaker Berri also received congratulatory cables for the same occasion, namely from the Bahraini Speaker of the Council of Representatives and President of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU), Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, the Secretary-General of the Union of Councils of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Muhammad Qureshi Nias, former Iraqi Prime Minister Ayad Allawi, the Secretary General for Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union Fayez Al Shawabkeh, and a number of members of the accredited diplomatic corps.
