A number of pharmacists staged a protest outside the Ministry of Public Health building, asking for raising their fees and receiving the required quantities of imported medicine.

Participants claim that the situation has caused huge losses for the pharmaceutical sector.

They explained in a statement that they “went to the ministry to sound alarm and raise their voice,” warning that “they themselves are compelled to completely close their pharmacies if their demands are not met.”

The pharmacists emphasized that “their actions are not directed against the citizens.”
