“Sawt Beirut International” correspondent reported in front of Mosque Al-Mosally near the entrance of Ain al-Hilweh camp, where a number of displaced people from the camp were present, about the mosque and the area being hit by several shells and stray bullets, in addition to an explosion of a shell above the Zghaib barracks after midnight.

The intense clashes with medium and heavy weapons erupted suddenly before midnight on Wednesday, breaking the ceasefire that had been declared hours earlier in Ain al-Hilweh camp.

The renewed clashes resulted in the death of one person and injuries to others who were taken to Al-Hamshari and Al-Rai hospitals in Sidon.

The committee of Mosque Al-Mosally called for urgent evacuation of the displaced people from the mosque due to the escalation of the clashes, considering the difficult current situation in the camp and its surroundings
