Prime Minister Najib Mikati arrived in Doha this evening, in response to an official invitation to attend the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The Lebanese delegation includes Caretaker Minsters of Youth and Sports, George Kallas, and Tourism, Walid Nassar.

Upon their arrival at Hamad International Airport, PM Mikati and the Lebanese delegation were received by Qatari Minister of State Sheikh Fahd bin Faisal Al Thani and head of the Lebanese Mission to the State of Qatar, Farah Berri.
