“MTV website published news attributed to the President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, claiming statements by His Excellency to MPs, on the day of binding parliamentary consultations.

The Presidency Press Office asserts that this is fake and baseless news, which falls within the framework of a series of fabricated news which creates an atmosphere of misinformation and confusion among the public opinion.

The public opinion is called to differentiate between what is true, and what is false”.
