President of Generator Owners Association, Abdo Saadeh, confirmed that the electricity latter situation is no longer tolerable, as he asked “Where are the people of honor?”

“We working hard and investing all our efforts in order to ensure diesel and electricity for people. We are facing COVID-19 pandemic and people need electricity in order to operate oxygen machines at the very least,” Saadeh affirmed during a radio interview.

In a related context, Saadeh added:  “There are areas where generators will stop operating due to the crisis, while the price of a kilowatt may rise to 1,000 pounds due to the high price of diesel. We are working hard for 22 hours per day, and the owners of the generators are not held responsible, only the state is concerned in this regard.”
