The Lebanese Ministry of Economy and Trade on Monday announced a decrease in the price of a bundle of bread as follows:

– Small bread bundle weighing 370 grams for LBP 7000

– Medium-sized bundle weighing 875 grams for LBP 12,000

– Large bread bundle weighing 1,055 grams for LBP 14,000.

The new pricing is due to the decrease in fuel prices, which directly affects the price of flour and the cost of producing a bundle of bread, in addition to the drop in the price of wheat in international markets, and the sharp decrease in the USD’s black market exchange rate against the Lebanese pound.
