Protesters have been trying for some time to storm the Energy Ministry in Beirut due to the permanent power cuts in Akkar.

And a TV channel reported that Energy Minister Walid Fayyad is meeting the protesters via video call due to his absence in the ministry, and is promising them to distribute electricity and water fairly between the regions.
