The Presidency of the Council of Ministers issued the following:

In conformity with Decree No. 15215 dated September 27, 2005, especially Decree No. 8007 dated July 23, 2021, Public departments and municipalities will be closed on Thursday, August 4, 2022, in memory of the tragic anniversary of the Beirut Port explosion, and flags will be lowered over public administrations, public institutions and municipalities, and regular programs on radio and television stations will be amended in proportion to the memory of the painful tragedy, and in solidarity with the families of the righteous martyrs and their families.”
