The Army Command – Orientation Directorate issued the following statement:

The Lebanese Army at Rafic Hariri International Airport received 70 tons of foodstuffs as a gift from His Highness the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The gift was received in the presence of the representative of the Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun and a delegation from the Embassy of the State of Qatar. The representative of the Armed Forces Commander thanked His Highness the Emir of the State of Qatar, for his repeated initiatives towards the Lebanese Army, wishing the brotherly State of Qatar continued peace and progress.
