Rahi: People should fear God to get out of difficulties

The Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, considered that “the beatification of the two priests, Leonard Melki and Thomas Saleh, restores glory to Lebanon, which was lost by politicians and others who lost faith, and one cannot live without God.”

During his arrival at the Divine Liturgy held in the courtyard of the Monastery of the Cross in Jal El Dib to beatify the two priests, today, Saturday, Rahi said: “I wish the Lebanese to return to faith and depart from personal interests.”

He added, “This celebration is a sign of hope for Lebanon, and the path to glory passes through pain, and we must join our pain with the two martyrs, Leonard and Thomas.”

Rahi pointed out that, “The Lebanese who are in heaven will not let their homeland be lost, and we want the people to return to faith in God and fear Him in order to get out of difficulties.”
