The Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, stressed that the Lebanese are eagerly waiting for a new government that will be able to put an end for the economic and financial collapse, and implement structural reforms.

Rahi said in a statement following his meeting with the President of the Republic, Michel Aoun at Baabda Palace, that government formation is the entry point for solutions, hoping that it will be formed as soon as possible, as citizens are eagerly waiting for it.

Rahi regretted the situation we have reached in Lebanon, “We are all responsible of this situation, that’s why we have to guide each other and stand firm together.”
