The International Force “UNIFIL” inaugurated the project to support the Civil Defense Center in Rashaya Al-Fokhar, by providing a small truck equipped as a firefighting and rescue vehicle, so that the Civil Defense could move in the narrow streets of the villages of Arqoub and respond quickly and effectively to urgent calls.

The inauguration was attended by Mayor Salim Yusuf, representative of the Indian battalion commander Colonel Mohver Singh Grewal and a representative of the Civil Affairs Unit in the Eastern Sector, the Civil and Military Cooperation Unit, the army and elements of the center.
