Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz warned Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah on Wednesday, against “miscalculations” regarding Israel.
In his speech at a conference at Tel Hai College in the north of the country, Gantz said, “The response will be severe against the Lebanese state.”

He added: “The terrorist organization of Hezbollah continues to grow at the expense of the unfortunate, unemployed and hungry Lebanese citizens, and these defenseless citizens are the ones who pay and will continue to pay the price of the organization’s terrorist policy.”

He stressed that “Israel is implementing everything that is required to ensure the safety of its citizens, and it will continue to do so by land, sea and air.”
