Rifi launches an attack on Machnouk

The former minister, Major General Ashraf Rifi, said during a television interview that the decision of forming a Lebanese government is in Iran’s hands.

He added: “I prefer that the Prime Minister-designate, Saad Hariri, does not present himself as a candidate because any government will be similar to the previous governments. It is also a waste of time as it implement Hezbollah’s wishes.”

Rifi pointed out that “the head of the Free Patriotic Movement, Gebran Bassil, is not an influencer, and if Hezbollah had an interest in forming the government, he would have given Basil a signal, and it was formed within 24 hours.”

He stressed that “MP Nohad Al-Machnouk is trying to atone for his mistakes today, and we do not meet with him personally, politically, or nationally. Whoever hands over Al-Tofail to Hezbollah is corrupted, the naturalization decree is corruption and the crushers are corruption.”
