Rifi: Lebanon’s abstention from voting on revealing the disappeared is a cowardly crime.

Deputy Ashraf Rifi expressed via Twitter that Lebanon’s abstention from voting on the issue of revealing the disappeared in Syria is an ethical and national setback. He pointed out that the regime committed abduction and torture crimes in Syria and Lebanon, with 622 Lebanese military personnel missing, along with an unspecified number of civilians.

Rifi added, “Abstention is a cowardly crime and an evasion of responsibility towards the families of the missing.”
