Member of Parliament Chamel Roukoz submitted a single-article legal proposal to Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri to amend the Parliamentary Elections Law.

The new proposal states allocating 24 seats in the Parliament for women’s representation, in an effort to find a way out on the issue of women’s quota.
