The UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Lebanon, Najat Rushdi, tweeted: “Starting now, on International Women’s Day, it is time to turn back the clock for every woman and girl. She added, “On this year’s International Women’s Day, we celebrate 9 inspiring women from Lebanon who lead innovative environmental actions for Lebanon. These women are strong and conclusive evidence of women’s leadership in all aspects of life, whether in politics, economy, environment and others. We need More of these women for Lebanon’s sustainable recovery.”
