Saidon Governmental Hospital employees continue their strike for the second day in a row, appealing in a statement to “those concerned from the government, the Ministry of Health and political, social and municipal organizations within the city of Sidon and the neighborhood, to expedite in finding quick solutions to pay their dues, from late salaries, school grants and a retroactive effect to the series of ranks and salaries, in light of the financial and economic conditions we are going through.”
And they recalled that they “only receive dialysis patients and emergency cases, and we apologize to our honorable people for not receiving mild cases, and we hope that our demands will be met, so that we can continue to perform our humanitarian message towards our people and society.”
