Caretaker Minister of Economy and Trade Amin Salam indicated that what we see today in the flour crisis are repercussions of what happened last month, and we hope that the ships will arrive faster than before, stressing that the crisis is a result of what is happening because the flour was stolen from the country.
In an interview with MTV, Salam said, “There is a crisis cell headed by the Ministry of Economy to distribute wheat and flour in a fair manner, and we changed the previous mechanism,” adding that 49,000 tons of wheat will enter the country at the end of this week, and we should not see queues after that, and we will pursue those who want to create a crisis.
