Minister of Economy and Trade, Dr. Amin Salam met with a delegation from the German Embassy in Beirut, in the presence of Mr. Yiannis Neophytou, Head of Development Cooperation, Ms. Laura El Chemali, Development Cooperation, Mr. Thomas Mueller Country Director of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Lebanon, and a team from GIZ in his office at the Ministry.

The meeting included discussions about possible cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Economy and Trade and the German GIZ, which is a company implementing development projects to support Lebanon on behalf of the German Government.
