Salloum: Legal actions will be taken by Pharmacists Syndicate.

Head of the Pharmacists Syndicate, Joe Salloum, confirmed that “pharmacies are subject to the authority and inspection of the Ministry of Public Health and the Pharmacists Syndicate exclusively, and pharmacists are under the law and abide by all laws and circulars issued by the Ministry of Health and the Pharmacists Syndicate.”

“Any entry of any member into the campus of a pharmacy other than the aforementioned authority, is considered an offense, and the Pharmacists Syndicate will take the status of a personal claim and prosecute him with the competent reference and guardianship.” he added.

Salloum concluded, “As for the dispensary inspections, they are subject to the strategy and directives of the Ministry of Health in cooperation with the Pharmacists Syndicate’s inspectors, and not subject to bickering, polemics or blackmail.”
